ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Laya Lee is an anti-disciplinary artist, writer and creative, but if you were to approach her at a party, she'd happily explain that she is simply 'just a girl'. :~)

Because she has such a vast respect for labor, especially labor that requires the grueling and spiritually-intensive practice of artmaking, Laya has come to viewing her role within Bad Bvssy to be a conduit for the art and to drive connection between artists and those seeking more art.

Laya is a proud Chicagoan (USA), living on indigenous land of the Anishinaabe collective (Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi and more). She is lucky enough to hail from many places, most notably Chicago, but also Shreveport, Louisiana (Caddo land) and Dipolog City in the Philippines (Subanen land).
